This is really well done! Such great atmosphere and music that I forgot it mostly was kind of a action/puzzle game. Would like to see something bigger made in this style! :)
Very good game! Game graphics are nice and the cut scenes are very well done and cute, and reflect well art style wise with the style of the game as well, which is very nice. The gameplay is nice and simple, the functions are clever and well coded, and the lag delay between releasing movement keys is very minimal. I've only encountered one glitch in this game, which was after replaying it and skipping the intro it started me in the second part of the game. Also moving off the screen when going backwards. But other than that this game runs incredibly well and smooth, and I have had no issues such as crashing or lag when playing it. Holds a lot of potential, and hope to see it grow over time!

Thanks for your comment on my functions, but be careful not to look to closely at my messy code! It makes me anxious just looking at the pages and pages when I find a bug that makes no sense. I have fixed the walking backwards problem, and I am working on the music system. I have finally added the dialogue and story that was originally intended for the game, so hopefully it will be a more immersive experience now. Thanks so much for playing, and let me know if you have any other comments or ideas!
Hello! Sorry it took me forever to come back. XDD I LOVE IT!!! I enjoyed how the devil talks - you know, him being an obsolete entity. XDD But, it's hard to read the text. The art is good (I dig it!) and the gameplay is fine but somehow the pacing is fast. Is this your first published game?? If so, it's really awesome!!

Do you think that making the levels longer would fix the pacing problem? This is my second published game on itch, so I'm still figuring out how to make the best possible games!
